Welcome to Link Nagano!
I’m your marketer, dedicated to bringing the finest Nagano sake to the world. Today, I’m excited to report on my recent visit to the Takeshige Honke Brewery for their special "Kurabiraki" event! 📝🍶
🍶 A Brewery Open House!? Let’s enjoy "Kurabiraki"!
"Kurabiraki" is essentially a one-day-only open house party held at a sake brewery! 🥳🎉
Usually, the places where sake is crafted (Sakekura) are considered sacred and are strictly off-limits to the public 🚫.
However, to celebrate the successful brewing of the year's new sake, breweries open their gates for a special day of gratitude and celebration. That’s "Kurabiraki"! ✨。
✨ Why Kurabiraki is the BEST! ✨
・Taste the Ultimate Freshness!
Forget "factory direct"—you can drink sake that was literally just pressed right there! This incredibly fresh taste is a moving experience you can only find at a Kurabiraki event. 💥✨
At this event, I enjoyed Takeshige Honke’s classic lineup, plus some super-rare seasonal and limited-edition bottles.
I totally fell in love with a limited release: "Mizonotake Daiginjo Muroka Namazake" (Unfiltered Raw Sake) and bought a bottle for myself! 🤩✨
It had the powerful character of the "Mizonotake" series but with a surprisingly crisp and clean finish. 💖

Plus, I got to keep the Ochoko (tiny sake cup) used for tasting! 🍶 With the brewery's illustrations and brand logo printed on it, it makes the perfect souvenir.
Some regular fans even visit every year just to collect the different colors! 💡

I also tried "Doburoku" (unfiltered sake made with just rice, koji, and water) and non-alcoholic "Amazake" made from koji! 🥛 Both allowed me to taste the rich, mellow sweetness of the rice directly. They were absolutely delicious! 💕
・A Trip Through Time! Explore Historic Buildings
Did you know that 30 buildings at Takeshige Honke are designated as National Registered Tangible Cultural Properties? 📜✨
In other words, the Japanese government has officially recognized this place as a treasure to be preserved for the future!

The scenery here is so picturesque that it served as the backdrop for the famous anime film "Summer Wars" and the movie "The Twilight Samurai." 🎬✨
Thinking about how the traditional "Kimoto-zukuri" (an ancient brewing method) has been protected here for generations makes the sake taste even deeper. 🍶❤️
・Cheers with the Locals!
The event was buzzing with everyone from neighbors to fans traveling from afar.
Eating local snacks and laughing together with a "This is delicious!" creates such a happy, warm atmosphere. 😊✨
We were treated to "Nozawana" (Nagano's most famous pickles) and "Amazake Kanten" (a jelly made with their signature sweet sake). There was also a stall selling Soba noodles handmade by local enthusiasts! 🍜❤️ In Japan, if you ask "Where is the best Soba?" everyone says "Shinshu (Nagano)!" Nagano locals LOVE pairing great sake with Soba. Enjoying handmade noodles alongside sake at a historic brewery like this is the ultimate "adult luxury" in Nagano. 😋🥢
Sipping delicious sake while slurping fresh Soba... It doesn't get any better than this! 😍🍶🥢
